Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming advocates food and agriculture policies and practices that enhance the health and welfare of people and animals, improve the working and living environment, enrich society and promote equity. This has included establishing networks to procure locally and organically produced food for London hospitals and celebrating the variety of ethnic and artisan bakers.

Sara Hannant shows a keen eye for the unexpected, but never allows that to detract from her subjects. Some of the images have a spontaneous immediacy while others introduce more depth and measured aesthetic-unfussy and beautifully shot.
