Scry is inspired by the ancient Greek and Roman divination practice, which uses egg whites to tell the future or reflect on present or past events. In a mild self-induced trance, gazing beyond the translucent surface, recognisable shapes and forms can appear. The photographic process preserves these fleeting moments of perception, offering forms, which can suggest both past visions and projections into the future.
